Get ready for some family fun at this year’s Wild Woods Day!

This is Rochford District Council’s sixteenth Wild Woods Day, sponsored by Fusion Lifestyle. Come along on Saturday 20 July, between 11am and 4pm, and visit one of the exciting zones.

In the Active Zone sponsored by Wells Legal, you will find the Climbing Wall, Parkour, Fencing and Archery! And that’s not all our Create & Play Zone, sponsored by Amos Estates, offers Soft Play, Face Painting and our Creepy Crawlie Bug Craft Activities along with traditional tudor games.

If you want something a bit more adventurous then venture deeper into the woods to explore the Wild Zone, where you can take part in activities such as Tomahawk Throwing, Slacklining, Bridge building, Fire lighting, along with a range of other activities.

And when it’s time to take a break for lunch why not head to the picnic area; you can pack your own or try out some of our dedicated food stalls including burgers, candyfloss and popcorn, ice cream, pulled pork, craft beers and traditional soft drinks.

Whatever age you are, whatever you enjoy doing, there is something for everyone, so come down and help us celebrate sixteen years of Wild Woods Day.

Please don’t forget that there is no on-site parking in Hockley Woods at Wild Woods Day. A shuttle bus service will run from Hockley Community Centre, Hockley Primary School and Clements Hall Leisure Centre throughout the day. However please be aware that parking spaces are limited, so visitors are encouraged to walk or take public transport where possible.
